After a goalless first half Wolfsburg seized control of the game against Hertha Berlin in the second. Ultimately Wolfsburg won Saturday’s away game in the Bundesliga 2-1.

The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 60th minute before Dodi Lukebakio found the net to give Hertha Berlin the lead.

Ridle Baku equalised for Wolfsburg in the 74th minute.

The deciding goal came right at the end of the game, when Lukas Nmecha scored a 1-2 for Wolfsburg. The team had then turned the match around.

The last match between the teams ended in a 2-0 home win for Wolfsburg in February 2021.
