It was a goalless first half in the Championship match between Nottingham Forest and the visitors Blackburn Rovers at City Ground on Wednesday. But in the second half, Blackburn took control and ultimately won the game 2-1.

The first half was goalless, but straight after half-time, Philip Zinckernagel made his mark as he found the net to give Nottingham Forest the lead.

Straight after the break, Daniel Ayala found the net and equalised for Blackburn Rovers.

Right after this, it was Darragh Lenihan who scored ensuring that the team took the lead.

Nottingham Forest’s Jordan Gabriel was sent off in the 90th minute.

On Saturday, Nottingham will host Stoke City at bet365 Stadium and Blackburn will host West Brom.
