The points were shared when Stevenage and Port Vale met in the England League Two on Saturday. The game ended 1-1 (1-1).

Port Vale started the match best and took the lead early when Devante Rodney scored in the 20th minute, making it 1-0.

Stevenage equalised to make it 1-1, when Luke Norris found the net, in the 33rd minute. The teams were unable to score in the second half and the game ended 1-1.

The result means the fourth game in a row without a win for Port Vale.

Port Vale have had a poor start and have only three points from their first four games. Stevenage are on seven points.

The last outing between the teams ended in a 0-0 draw, with Port Vale at home in February 2021.
