The only goal of the game came from Ellison in the second half in Newport County’s victory in the England League Two, as they beat Oldham 1-0 (0-0) away.
Goal was scored right at the death with two minutes left to play, when Kevin Ellison scored made it 1–0 for Newport County.
Both teams will be back in action on Saturday when Oldham host Bradford at Valley Parade and Newport Co welcome Mansfield.
