The visiting team Real Madrid started the match at pace and took the lead straight away at the start of the game. After only 5 minutes Gareth Bale scored from a pass from Karim Benzema.

Straight after the break, Roger Marti scored and equalised for Levante.

Vinicius Junior equalised for Real Madrid in the 73rd minute, from a pass from Casemiro.

Rober Pier gave Levante the lead, in the 79th minute.

Real Madrid equalised to make it 3-3 just six minutes later when Vinicius Junior scored one more time. This occasion he scored, with an assist by Karim Benzema, what brought the final score to 3-3.

Levante’s Aitor Fernandez was sent off in the 87th minute.

Levante have two points while Real Madrid have four, as both teams have played two games.

The last meeting between the teams ended in a 1-2 away win for Levante in January 2021.
