Manchester United sign Marnick Vermiljl of Standard Liege

Belgian star Marnick Vermiljl who was recently playing with Stadard Liege has been reported to make his way towards English Premier Club, Manchester United, as they have agreed to sign the 18-year old wing who has impressed Sir Alex Ferguson thus far.

Vermiljl went on to tell the Het Laatste Nieuws the following :

“They said he was the best right or left-back they had seen in years, Ferguson told me that Marnick in the following years would become a fixture in the Manchester United squad.”

    I have not seen him in action but with Liverpool and Arsenal as 2 other clubs who were looking to sign him, I think for the price they have got him for which I believe is £300,000 was a good deal for them.

    I haven’t seen him play for Standard,we’ll see what happen’s.
