Former New York Red Bulls, Carl Robinson, is on his way to Vancouver as Whitecaps manager Martin Rennie included the 35-year old ex-midfielder as one of his two assistants in the upcoming season. Houston Dynamo is looking towards the future as the Texas club dealt Danny Cruz to D.C. United for an undisclosed sum. Dynamo president Chris Canetti thinks the deal between was all around a fair deal as the Dynamo free up some much needed space and D.C. United acquire a speedy winger who started in last years MLS Cup.

Ahh The Rumors!

Michael Ballack is rumored to be edging his way towards Montreal as SoccerInsider, Steven Goff, tweeted that the deal seems 90% done between the Impact and the German legend.

Trouble in the Big Apple? According to BigAppleSoccer.com it seems that Thierry Henry will be undergoing scans in order to figure out what is the Frenchman’s nagging pan in his calf. Henry is already listed out in this weekend’s action for Arsenal against Mancehster United but should these scans come back ugly, it will be even uglier for RBNY as Henry is the major part of the Red Bulls quests towards the Gold in 2012.

RBNY Expecting Loss of Promising Yanks

The question of New York Red Bull’s young yanks Tim Ream and Juan Agudelo was never if they were going to make the move abroad, but really when. In a recent statement made by Red Bulls head coach, Hans Backe, it seems that NY are preparing themselves to face the truth of the situation as both players are edging their way towards a departure from the Red Bulls organization.

In Juan Agudelo’s case, nothing is for sure yet as most reports about his likely destination is mostly hearsay but in the case of Red Bulls defender Tim Ream, the young yank has been impressing clubs with training stints at Barclays Premier League club, Bolton Wanderers.

Asked if Backe was expecting the loss of Tim Ream, Backe responded by saying that he believes the deal will be finalized before the end of January.

However, not all is lost for Red Bulls fans as the organization already has been linked with Colombian center back, Wilman Conde.
