Former New York Red Bulls, Carl Robinson, is on his way to Vancouver as Whitecaps manager Martin Rennie included the 35-year old ex-midfielder as one of his two assistants in the upcoming season. Speaking to MLSSoccer.com, Rennie pointed out the obvious which is the need in hiring someone with MLS experience.
Houston Dynamo is looking towards the future as the Texas club dealt Danny Cruz to D.C. United for an undisclosed sum. Dynamo president Chris Canetti thinks the deal between was all around a fair deal as the Dynamo free up some much needed space and D.C. United acquire a speedy winger who started in last years MLS Cup.

Michael Ballack is rumored to be edging his way towards Montreal as SoccerInsider, Steven Goff, tweeted that the deal seems 90% done between the Impact and the German legend.
Trouble in the Big Apple? According to BigAppleSoccer.com it seems that Thierry Henry will be undergoing scans in order to figure out what is the Frenchman’s nagging pan in his calf. Henry is already listed out in this weekend’s action for Arsenal against Mancehster United but should these scans come back ugly, it will be even uglier for RBNY as Henry is the major part of the Red Bulls quests towards the Gold in 2012.
